"Big Bend Abstract Landscape: Yellow Sunset, Purple Mountains" was painted with acrylic on a primed 8 x 10 inch canvas stretched on a wood frame. The 1/2 inch edge on the inside back of the painting makes it easy to hang on a nail or push pin tack. The rectangle canvas came stretched and primed for painting from an art store.

Similar to the ocotillo paintings, the dark and light purple mountains appear wavy and layer themselves from shortest to highest.
